Update..
Earlier in the week, I decided to update the appearance of the main page of this site ~ it is my intention to experiment with different designs and "cover" photos in an effort to keep things fresh. I've decided against fishing this weekend, chiefly due to the fact that I will be do so for about five consecutive days next week, so I need time to organize my gear and spin up a few new flies. Unfortunately, my SIMMS Freestones have developed a small leak in the left foot, which made for uncomfortable wading last week in 34 F water; I have a "backup pair" on express order from Bass Pro, though. At least they didn't leak back in February....
hey JFL, long time no chat. if you don't get the waders in time, why not just apply some aquaseal? i've probably needed a new pair of waders since nov, but since the birth of my boys in Dec i've had to scale back the expenses. can't trade formula for waders... the aquaseal compromises your appearance somewhat but only when the waders are dry. through necessity i found out that it can even plug up small holes (i.e. that you can poke your pinky into). my waders are now roughly 90:10 breathable vs aquaseal lol!
ReplyDeletePaul, you are the king. I appreciate your humor and suggestions, I might have to stock up on some AquaSeal.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with the twins and your wife.
Cheers,
Joe
